About the B&B

Recipes

Making every breakfast fresh from scratch means we have ample opportunities to test and adjust our favorite recipes. We hope you’ll try making a few of these at home.

About the Innkeepers

James & Thomas Thomas & James invite you to stay with us in our historic home. During your time here, we encourage you to find time to play one of our more than 200 board games, or fall in love with a book from our shelves. Thomas (he/him) grew up on a small farm in rural Ohio and worked at his hometown newspaper after graduating from Marietta College. He moved to Boston where he worked in higher education while also studying theology and computer science (a true life-long learner).

Breakfast

Enjoy a full vegetarian breakfast each morning at 8:30 a.m. in the Gathering Room. This is a plated meal (not a buffet or continental style), and each table seats 2 to 4 people. If you need to get on the road extra early, we can provide a to-go bag—just let us know in advance. In season, we serve fresh fruits and vegetables purchased directly from the Mennonite and Amish farm stands.

Common Rooms

Guests have shared use of three common rooms during their stay.
